1300nm Edge-Emitting LED / TO56 Package

1300nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s 1300nm edge-emitting LEDs feature stable power and spectral characteristics over temperature. These LEDs are typically used in data or analog transmission systems where the launch power requirements are too great for an SLED component and where a laser is not suitable. The ELED device is packaged in a 3 pin TO56 with window cap. This part is RoHS compliant.

TCW RGB Tribiner Visible Laser

450nm, 520nm, 638nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s TCW TriBiner fiber coupled lasers are designed to meet efficient footprint
requirements of the visible laser display market. The TCW RGBM-105R TriBiner is a Red, Green, Blue
laser diode module efficiently coupling all three wavelengths into a single output fiber pigtail. Various fiber
pigtail options are available.

TCW RGB TriBiner Visible Laser TCW RGBS-400R

450nm, 520nm, 638nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s TCW TriBiner fiber coupled lasers are designed to meet efficient footprint requirements of the visible laser display market. The TCW RGBS-400R TriBiner is a Red, Green, Blue laser diode module efficiently coupling all three wavelengths into an RGB400 singlemode fiber pigtail. Additional fiber pigtail options are available.

Telecom / Datacom Laser Modules

1310 nm and 1550 nm

Excellent output power stability and constant wavelength are features of OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s (LDI) laser series that make these modules ideal for applications such as telecommunications and test instrumentation.

These devices comprise a Fabry-Perot laser chip and a singlemode optical fiber that are aligned in LDI’s high stability, temperature controlled, low reflection, 14-pin dual-in-line module. LDI’s laser chips are based on a multiple quantum well structure fabricated by an MOCVD technology and processed into a ridge wave guide device structure.

LCW / SCW Series OTDR Instrument Lasers

1310 nm, 1550 nm, 1625 nm, and 1650 nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s (LDI) High Power SMF coupled laser modules are designed to meet the specific performance demands of the optical test equipment marketplace.

The high peak optical power SCW Series lasers serve 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm wavelengths, along with a 3-pin coaxial package. The 14 pin package lasers include both TEC and temperature sensing thermistor for superior wavelength stability over a wide temperature range.

Custom packaging and E-O/Environmental screening to Military or Telecordia standards are available.

MCW Combiner Series

850 nm, 1310 nm, 1550 nm, 1625 nm and 1650 nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s (LDI) MCW Combiner Series fiber couples lasers are designed to meet the performance demands of the optical test equipment marketplace. These high peak optical power lasers serve 850 nm through 1650 nm wavelengths and are available in a compact duplex package.

TCW Tribiner Series

650 nm, 850 nm, 1310 nm and 1550 nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc’s (LDI) TCW Tribiner Series fiber coupled lasers are designed to meet the performance demands of the optical test marketplace. These high peak optical power lasers serve 850 nm through 1550 nm wavelengths and are available in a compact triplex package. The TriBiner incorporates a 650nm red laser for convenient fault finder capability.

1300 nm Edge-Emitting LED

OSI Laser Diode, Inc.‘s (LDI) 1300 nm edge-emitting LEDs (light-emitting diodes) feature stable power and spectral characteristics over temperature.

LDI’s MOCVD-grown InGaAsP devices are aligned to either a singlemode or multimode optical fiber in a stable, 14-pin dual-in-line package (DIP). Two versions of the DIP are offered. The standard package with a long-horn flange is configured either with or without a thermistor and a Peltier-effect thermoelectric cooler (cooler package). A second uncooled, low-profile package without a flange is also available for applications where space is limited and temperature control is not required.
