The 1550nm pulsed laser offers a far field
beam pattern with equivalent divergence values
for both the Fast (Perpendicular) and the Slow
(Parallel) Axes of emission. The adjusted Far
Field pattern offers higher coupling efficiency
into standard spherical lens systems.
The laser/lens is hermetically sealed in a
9mm package that offers robust environmental
survival capability for demanding applications
such as field deployed range finders.
This product is RoHS compliant.

Dual Aiming Laser

This laser package contains a 905 pulsed laser diode (CVD 46) and a 650nm laser diode mounted side by side (distance between the centers of emission = 720um) on a common platform (+, case, positive).  The emission pattern of the two laser die will be centered on the package axis to within +/- 0.010 in.

The SCW 1731F-D40R laser diode module is a 1650 nm Al RWG DFB laser diode packaged in a 14 pin DIL
package. The laser diode is optically coupled to an SMF fiber pigtail and includes a thermoelectric cooler
and an electrically isolated temperature sensing thermistor. The SCW 1731F-D40R laser diode modules are
specifically designed for optical test equipment applications where high peak pulsed optical power is
desired. The device is RoHS compliant.

SCW Series: High Power Instrument Laser Modules Pulsed Applications

1310nm, 1550nm,1625nm and 1650nm

OSI Laser Diode, Inc.’s High Power SMF coupled laser modules are designed to meet the performance demands of the optical test equipment marketplace. The high peak optical power SCW Series lasers serve 1310nm through 1650nm wavelengths and are available in fully hermetic laser welded packages. These packaged lasers can include both TEC and temperature sensing thermistors and back facet monitors for superior wavelength stability over a wide temperature range.

Hybrid Laser Diodes for Pulsed Operations

905 nm

The LHCVN series incorporates a pulsed laser firing circuit into the same package as the laser diode. The hybridization of the driver permits much narrower pulse widths and faster rise times at lower voltage requirements than discrete laser drivers. The LHCVN series is compatible with all OSI Laser Diode, Inc. standard MOCVD laser diodes and can be optimally driven utilizing commercially available MOSFET drivers. The hermetic TO5 package and increased efficiency is ideal when space and weight are of primary concern.
